Here’s a house from Tuktoyaktuk. It’s interesting to see how the satellite dish is almost parrallel to the ground, because of the curve of the earth.

One interesting part of driving the ice road is seeing boast moored on the banks. When the ice melts, they’ll be the only way to get to Tuktoyaktuk and Aklavik.

Check out my new wall decoration! I can’t exactly explain why, but it makes me quite happy to have a raccoon pelt on the wall of my office.

Here’s a nice touch: The apartment’s outdoor parking lot has a power outlet for every car!
