Twenty-four hour sunlight is highly overrated. At least in winter you get some atmosphere.

The lights seem to be way more intense in you neck of the woods.
What is that circle lens you use (super fisheye or just some kind of filter)?
The fisheye lens I use is an attachement I got for $60 on ebay. The more you turn, the more “distorted” things get, and the rounder the image. (On the opposite scale, if you twist it the other way you get a macro zoom, allowing photos of insects, etc.)
It’s a model which fits many lenses, and I have an adapter ring (just a metal ring with two different sizes of thread) which came with it.
It should also be noted that I never process my photos in photoshop. (Maybe ajust the brightness for dark shots, but it’s not like I’m adding green hue or anything.)
I always loved how skateboard magazines use fish-eye lens, and decided to try it myself.
