Seeing the northern lights is still on my bucket list because when you live down south like we do, they don’t exist. But it means we’d have to come north in the winter not the summer. What month do they start appearing. Love your blogs. Keep it up. Barb

Lived in Inuvik on two separate ocassions and can say, without doubt, the best experiences of my life. There were 10 yrs between residency and a lot changed. Still, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world. Thank you for the photos. Brought back many many wicket and wonderful memories.

i like the third one down; seeing the individual flakes coming at the lens makes me feel like i’m in it. (we had our heaviest snow of the season on the same day–a whopping three inches which disappeared four days later in 47F and rain.)
